These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of fastbooth.com (the “Site”) and the photo booth rental services provided by FastBooth (“FastBooth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or booking our services, you agree to these Terms. A separate signed booking agreement may also apply to your event and will control if it conflicts with these Terms.
Booking and Retainer
A non-refundable retainer (deposit) and a signed agreement are required to reserve your event date. Dates are not held or guaranteed until the retainer is received. The retainer is applied toward your total balance.
Payment
We accept cash, PayPal, credit/debit cards, and checks, and we offer financing. The following schedule applies unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Final balance paid by check is due 30 days before your event.
- Final balance paid by PayPal or credit/debit card is due 14 days before your event.
- Final balance may be paid by cash on the day of your event.
- Credit and debit card transactions are subject to a small processing charge.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Retainers are non-refundable. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Rescheduling is subject to availability. Cancellations made close to the event date may remain responsible for the full balance as set out in your booking agreement.
Idle Time and Additional Hours
Packages may include idle (non-operating) time, such as a dinner break. Additional service hours may be added at the rates listed on our pricing page or in your agreement.
Travel
We serve all of Michigan and Northern Indiana. Travel fees may apply depending on your event location and will be disclosed in your quote or agreement.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide:
- Adequate, safe, level space for the booth and a standard power outlet within a reasonable distance (unless a battery or digital-only setup is arranged).
- Access for setup and teardown and timely entry to the venue.
- Accurate event details, including venue, timing, and design preferences.
Note: Prints may not be available for outdoor events or where no power connection is available. Some services depend on internet connectivity at the venue.
Equipment and Conduct
All equipment, props, and materials remain the property of FastBooth. You are responsible for the conduct of your guests. You agree to reimburse FastBooth for any loss or damage to our equipment caused by you or your guests, and our attendants may pause or end service if staff or equipment safety is at risk.
Photo and Media Usage
Unless you notify us in writing before your event, you grant FastBooth a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use photos and media captured at your event for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes. You represent that you have the right to grant this permission on behalf of your guests.
Online Gallery
Event galleries are typically hosted online for one year after the event. We are not responsible for retaining media beyond that period; please download and back up your media.
Text Messaging
If you opt in to text messaging, message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle SMS information.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FastBooth’s total liability arising out of or related to your event or these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, venue restrictions, power or internet failure, or other force majeure events.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FastBooth and its staff from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your event, your or your guests’ conduct, or your breach of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Kent County, Michigan.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
